Private Services

The Dune Church is only open for regular Sunday worship. However, the Trustees have a long-standing practice of making the sanctuary available for private ceremonies for families with a connection to the Dune Church. This is done on a discretionary basis in consideration of the family’s commitment to and relationship with the Church community.

For wedding inquiries, please follow the guidelines outlined below.

Wedding Inquiry Guidelines

Please send a written letter to:

with the following information:

  • Bride and Groom's name, email address(es), mailing address, preferred telephone numbers

  • Requested Date and Time of Ceremony and Rehearsal

  • Name of the Minister (if known)

Once your request is received, you will be notified by mail as to the Trustees’ decision on personal use of the Dune Church for a wedding. The Letter of Confirmation will reserve your date and include next steps (fees, deadlines, and important contacts).

Please note:

  • Requests for use of the Dune Church for private services are granted at the discretion of the Trustees and on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • All services must be coordinated with the Sexton and Organist by contacting them directly.

  • Weddings are scheduled after 12:30pm only.

  • Village parking by the Dune Church can be especially challenging for weddings scheduled before 4:30pm.
